Job Requirements – Technical Office Engineer
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering – required.
- At least 5 years of experience in an industrial environment; semiconductor industry experience is preferred.
- Proven experience in Build-to-Print projects and engineering support for manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with jigs, fixtures, and production/testing support tools.
Professional Skills
- Ability to read and analyse customer drawings, 3D models, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Ability to translate technical and functional requirements into feasible manufacturing processes.
- Creation and release of full manufacturing documentation, including drawings, assemblies, BOMs, and work instructions.
- High proficiency in SolidWorks and engineering documentation.
- Experience with cost estimation and cost simulations, including BOM, routings, and make/buy analysis.
- Support quotation processes, cost optimization, and design-for-cost activities.
- Lead and support ECO/ECN processes and maintain data in PLM / ERP systems, including SAP.
- Ongoing collaboration with Process Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and suppliers.
- Experience with special manufacturing processes, such as machining, chemical processes, welding, and electropolishing – an advantage.
- Experience with precision measurement solutions, including CMM, mechanical, and optical measurement – an advantage.
