What We'll Bring:

We are seeking a Product Development Tools & Process Manager within our Global Solutions PMO. This role will report into the Business Process Director within TransUnion’s Commercial Success organization.
The Process and Tools Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) system. The PDLC system supports the efficient and effective growth of our Product offering across the organization. Activities such as portfolio management, prioritization, solution launch activities, and compliance/legal reviews are encompassed within the tooling. A successful candidate will support the rollout and adoption of standardized tools as we scale across the Global Solutions organization. This role requires a strategic thinker, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally.

What You'll Bring:

  • PDLC Tool Development and Management: Develop, manage and maintain PDLC tools and software to enhance project delivery and reporting, specifically JPD, Jira, Confluence and Smartsheet in conjunction with the Technology Agile PMO and tool support team
  • Reporting Frameworks and Insights: Build common reporting structures to be used across all product families to provide meaningful insight up to Exec level, enabling effective decision making
  • Template Creation and Standardization: Develop and standardize templates ensuring consistency and best practices across all solution lines
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to product teams on the use of tools and templates, ensuring they are utilized effectively
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve tools and templates based on feedback and evolving product management methodologies
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product teams other stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure tools and templates meet those needs
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tools and templates, ensuring they are easily accessible and up to date
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure all tools and templates comply with organizational policies, standards, and governance frameworks
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and track performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of tools and templates in improving product delivery

  • Passionate advocate of the value quality enterprise tooling and templates can bring to an organization
  • Experience of training, coaching and motivating teams across multiple regions
  • An outgoing and engaging personality with strong interpersonal skills, being able to connect and build relationships at all levels
  • Expertise in optimizing workflows, scaling processes, and driving team efficiency
  • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into impactful product solutions
  • You will have good knowledge of what governance and control processes and associated metrics looks like, having demonstrable experience of practically applying it
  • You will flourish being part of a team, have good collaboration skills and understand the value and importance of knowledge sharing
  • You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, being able to communicate with clarity and confidence
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities
  • A confident multi-tasker, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment that offers plenty of variety
  • You have excellent analytical skills with the ability to ‘weed out’ the important from the noise, can build KPIs and perform critical management insight
  • Experience of working collaboratively across organisational boundaries
  • Strong collaboration skills, balancing unique users’ needs with enterprise goals and needs in an empathetic nature

Impact You'll Make:

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in product management or PMO experience, with significant experience focused on tooling and standards impacting an organization of 500+ associates across multiple regions
  • Specific and proficient experience with Atlassian Suite tools including Jira Product Discovery (JPD), Jira, and Confluence is required
  • Knowledge in Figma or other similar tools desired
  • Knowledge with Smartsheet or similar project management tooling highly desired
  • SAFe or equivalent practical experience highly desired
  • Highly proficient in building training content

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
