What is a Solution Engineer?
- Also known as a “Presales Engineer” or “Presales Consultant,” the Solution Consultant plays a pivotal role in presenting Salesforce’s product offerings and architectures to prospects and clients. They are instrumental in instilling confidence in our technology infrastructure and overcoming technical objections throughout the sales cycle by demonstrating how our solutions fit a customers’ current IT landscape and solve their most pressing business challenges.
- To be successful in this role, a Solution Engineer requires a deep understanding of Salesforce’s extended product offering, the ability to acquire underlying insights on a customers’ business, and the capability of crafting and executing a technical sales strategy to successfully convince the customer of the business value of Salesforce.
- We are currently looking for someone to extend our team focused on delivering solutions to our Commercial Business customers in Spain
- Understand customer needs and position Salesforce solutions as the preferred choice to address and solve those challenges.
- Create and deliver innovative, customised demos of Salesforce products to convince mid- to senior-management decision-makers across business and IT. Demonstrate a deep understanding of customer technology as it relates to Salesforce solutions.
- Respond effectively to RFIs, RFQs, RFPs to progress Salesforce in the bidding process.
- Participate in ongoing product, sales, and procedural training to stay up-to-date and Salesforce-certified.
- Achieve quarterly and annual objectives set by management.
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Passion for the transformative power of technology.
- Energy and Oil and Gas experience is a plus
- Drive for continued learning and development.
- Ability to decipher unique business requirements and present compelling solutions in the language of the customer, both IT and business.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborative and adaptable team player.
- Self-starter with effective time and priority management skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role or an industry-related background.
- Salesforce Certifications (optional, but preferred).
- Understanding the business requirements of customers Commercial Business segment would be highly appreciated
- Willing and able to travel occasionally
