We are seeking a skilled Networking and System Engineer with expertise in system engineering. Reporting to the Director, Software Engineering. You will be responsible for:
- Designing and optimizing system infrastructure for high-performance networking and applications
- Collaborating with teams to resolve system issues and improve performance
- Applying expertise in system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization
- Leveraging knowledge of Linux kernel, disk partitioning, file systems, and networking features
- Developing specification documents, conducting unit tests, and automating processes
- 8+ years of system engineering experience, specializing in designing and optimizing infrastructure for high-performance applications and networks
- Expertise in Linux internals, networking features, data paths (kernel/user space), and file systems
- Skilled in C programming, Linux kernel tools (Git, Make), and agile methodologies
- Familiar with NFV, SDN, and cloud platforms like AWS and Azure
- Effective communicator and collaborator, skilled in working with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of efficiently debugging complex issues
- Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
