What you will do
- Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery with a focus on automation, security, and quality.
- Oversee containerization and orchestration strategies (Docker, Kubernetes or similar technologies) in production environments.
- Drive best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and quick incident response.
- Create scripts to automate operational tasks & incorporate the solutions into infrastructureCollaborate with development teams to improve application performance, scalability, and deployment workflows.
- Lead the code deployment process to production environments.
- Mentor and guide other DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and operational excellence.
What you need to be successful
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure Engineering in SaaS environments.
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, CircleCI) and zero downtime strategies.
- Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for building, deploying, and managing containerized applications at scale.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Strong skills in monitoring and observability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
- Familiarity with security best practices for cloud-native applications and infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
