Job Description:

Fidelity Labs is seeking a Principal Content Designer on an exciting fintech team and the opportunity to work across Labs. As a key teammate, this role will deliver product and marketing content. The ideal candidate is passionate about translating sophisticated financial concepts into understandable and compelling writing, grounded in compassion and thoughtfulness.

The Expertise and Skills you Bring  

  • Expert writing skills and ability to align with brand and style guidelines  

  • 8+ years of work experience in some combination of content design, UX design, content strategy, copywriting, or similar role in a related field  

  • BA/BS degree in English, creative writing, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience  

  • The ability to partner with peers (researchers, designers, and product managers) to understand the customer and to design effective content  

  • Ability to self-motivate, stay organized, and self-manage time and tasks  

  • Good listening skills and the ability to communicate content design rationale to key partners outside of the design team (such as business, legal, technology teams)  

  • Ability to create and document new processes and thrive in ambiguity with flexibility
