Dynamics of the Role
In this role, you will lead the creation, development, and execution of the APAC strategic pricing agenda under the guidance and direction of the Head of International Pricing, ensuring strong alignment with global pricing governance and priorities. Supporting a diverse set of APAC markets—each with different regulatory environments, product maturity levels, and commercial models—you will play a pivotal role in shaping regional pricing outcomes and elevating commercial performance.
You will also play an active role in global pricing initiatives, contributing APAC insights, executing cross‑regional programs, and helping shape enterprise‑wide pricing capabilities. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence strategy both regionally and globally, collaborating with senior leaders and pricing experts across the International Pricing organization.
As the APAC function continues to expand, you will build and lead a small regional pricing team, defining the operating cadence, standards, and best practices for pricing execution across APAC. This is a high‑visibility role offering significant scope to innovate, strengthen pricing discipline, and directly impact growth across one of the company’s most dynamic regions.
The Team’s Focus
The Strategic Pricing team partners with Sales, Product Management, Finance, and International/Global Pricing leadership to define and execute pricing strategy across the full product lifecycle. Operating as part of the broader International Pricing organization, the team plays a critical role in shaping both regional and global pricing outcomes.
By combining competitive analysis, market insights, and a deep understanding of product value, the team drives sustainable revenue and margin performance through competitive renegotiations, tactical price actions, and structured repricing programs. We support the execution of initiatives led by the International Pricing team while elevating regional insights that inform enterprise‑wide strategy.
As a trusted partner to APAC and global leadership, the team helps design and implement pricing initiatives that strengthen commercial discipline, enhance competitiveness, and unlock long‑term growth across APAC markets. This is a high‑impact environment with visibility across regions, providing opportunities to contribute to global process evolution, governance, and pricing innovation.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 8–12+ years of relevant experience in Financial Services or Professional Services, with strong exposure to pricing analytics, pricing strategy, or commercial analysis.
- Experience operating in multi‑market or regional environments, ideally within APAC.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities, meet tight deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and data manipulation; strong Excel skills required; Tableau strongly preferred.
- Experience with CRM platforms and pricing/revenue management processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convert complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
- Strong influencing skills; comfortable challenging assumptions and defending pricing recommendations.
Impact You'll Make:
Strategic Pricing & Advisory
- Drive the development and execution of the APAC Pricing Strategy in alignment with, and under the direction of, International Pricing leadership, collaborating closely with APAC Sales, Product, Finance, and local leadership teams.
- Evaluate price positions, market trends, and regional competitive dynamics to develop compelling pricing proposals for complex or high‑value opportunities.
- Develop regional pricing frameworks, guardrails, and approval models aligned with global pricing governance to ensure scalable and repeatable execution
- Serve as a trusted pricing advisor to Sales and Executive stakeholders across APAC, influencing negotiations and commercial decisions through clear, data‑driven recommendations.
Pricing Execution & Governance
- Own end‑to‑end repricing campaigns across APAC markets, including planning, segmentation, approvals, execution, and post‑campaign analysis.
- Assume joint budgetary accountability for incremental pricing‑driven revenue, with responsibility for monitoring, tracking, and reporting results.
- Lead or co‑lead APAC pricing governance forums, ensuring consistent decision‑making, documentation standards, and compliance across markets.
Analytics, Insights & Reporting
- Manage and analyze large, multi‑market datasets using Excel, Tableau/PowerBI, and other analytical tools to uncover price optimization opportunities and risk areas, working in close coordination with International Pricing analytics standards..
- Design and maintain regional pricing dashboards and executive‑level reports to support data‑driven decision making.
- Track outcomes of pricing decisions, contracts, and campaign performance to support deeper trend analysis across APAC markets.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Deal Support
- Build strong working relationships with APAC Sales, Product, Finance & Accounting, Legal & Compliance, and International/Global Pricing teams.
- Partner with Billing/Operations to ensure pricing and campaign changes are accurately implemented into systems and invoicing across multiple markets.
- Support RFPs through structured pricing evaluation, competitive research, and documentation.
- Provide deal structuring support for priority opportunities across APAC, ensuring commercial outcomes align with pricing guidelines.
- Deliver insights and updates to regional executives through recurring pricing reviews and committee meetings.
People Leadership (Future Team Build‑Out)
- Hire, onboard, and develop a small team of pricing analysts/consultants aligned to international pricing methodologies and tools. .
- Establish the operating rhythm, SLAs, workflows, and quality standards for regional pricing.
- Build and maintain pricing playbooks to ensure consistent processes for deal support, campaign management, and escalations.
- Provide coaching and career development, fostering a culture of data‑driven decision making, curiosity, and accountability.
- Develop succession plans and a strong talent pipeline to support long‑term regional growth.
Process, Systems & Tooling
- Partner with IT, Data, and systems owners to enhance pricing tools, data sets, analytical models, and pricing intelligence platforms used across APAC.
- Continuously improve regional pricing processes, data quality, turnaround time, and analytical capabilities to increase win rates and operational efficiency within global governance frameworks.
