About the Role

As a Platform Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting sales operations by ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and within established service level expectations. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Vendor Partners, and internal stakeholders to manage order execution, resolve issues, maintain account activity, and provide operational support that directly impacts customer satisfaction and business growth.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where collaboration, problem solving, and customer focus are essential to success.

What You'll Do
  • Process and manage customer sales orders, change orders, and related transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Review and verify orders to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, pricing, and licensing requirements.
  • Support inside and outside sales teams by providing operational, administrative, and customer support.
  • Monitor assigned accounts and overall account activity to identify issues, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver product, service, and licensing quotations for customers and sales teams.
  • Manage lead and order activity within assigned territories, customer segments, or business areas.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service, Sales Management, Vendor Partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve order and account-related issues.
  • Analyze data and generate reports related to sales performance, account activity, operational metrics, and market conditions.
  • Troubleshoot non-routine issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and recommend process improvements.
  • Provide guidance, support, and informal mentoring to less experienced team members.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting productivity, quality, and service expectations.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree and 3+ years of relevant professional experience; or High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience processing orders, managing transactions, supporting sales operations, or supporting customer accounts.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with multiple systems, tools, and platforms to manage customer or sales-related activities.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and make sound business decisions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting technology, software, cloud, licensing, distribution, or channel sales organizations.
  • Experience creating product quotes, pricing proposals, or licensing recommendations.
  • Knowledge of CRM, ERP, order management, or sales support systems.
  • Experience generating reports, analyzing operational data, and identifying trends.
  • Previous experience mentoring, coaching, or training team members.
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven sales support or customer operations environment.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,800.00 - $70,100.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
