Job Description:
Serve as primary Global Product & Strategy liaison with Operations, Client Services, Systems and Project Management for products and processes that cross multiple lines of business (CFA) and market segments. Coordinate and communicate requests from within Product Management back to business units and vice versa. Maintain thorough knowledge of systems and operations processes for products supported. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining subject matter expertise for platform functionality (including technical), product rules, regulations, guidelines and service agreements; resolve chronic service delivery or product support issues identified by client service/support organizations; act as key product representative in projects related to platform conversions/upgrades, platform or operations consolidations; act as Facilitator and/or key product representative for "best practices" and operations efficiency discussions; communicate project status to key business partners; create and communicate credit risk policies and procedures as well as implementation standards and procedures; perform product volume and trend analysis and forecasting; perform analysis on unit cost and impact to product profitability and review pricing across market segments. Will provide guidance and manage and facilitate high level strategic initiatives.

Acts as a product representative and is responsible for negotiating operational fund onboarding requirements with fund managers and transfer agents.  Has extensive, in-depth knowledge of product functions and can operate independently in handling transactions. Strong client relationship skills used to control and coordinate all aspects of a transaction, from onboarding to the ongoing client/advisor experience. Typically three plus years experience in a similar role. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partners with private equity/hedge fund origination team and operations team to onboard new funds to the Alternative Investments Platform
  • Responds to inquiries on existing funds from financial advisors and sales team
  • Maintains relationships with fund managers/administrators and develop financial advisor communications
  • Acts as liaison for operational issues between Alternative Investments and fund managers/administrators including review of AML documents

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of general financial services experience
  • Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate across business groups
  • Ability to multi-task and simultaneously manage daily responsibilities and projects
  • Self-starter and creative thinker
  • History of process improvement
  • Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range$100,800.00 - $151,800.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
