As a D&A Platform Customer Success Engineer, you will leverage your data expertise to help teams successfully adopt, scale, and optimize solutions on our enterprise Data & Analytics platform. You will combine hands-on expertise in Data Engineering, DevOps, and cloud technologies with a customer-success mindset, supporting users across modern platform capabilities including Databricks, Azure, AI solutions, and data management services.
In this role, you will serve as both a technical data expert and trusted advisor. You will help teams accelerate onboarding, resolve complex technical challenges, implement scalable engineering practices, and improve the overall developer experience. You will also work closely with platform engineering teams to turn customer feedback into better capabilities, stronger automation, and more efficient ways of working.
Responsibilities
Enable and support internal teams in effectively adopting and building on enterprise platform capabilities.
Develop AI-powered support capabilities, automation solutions, and self-service experiences to improve customer productivity and reduce support effort.
Partner with data engineers, architects, asset managers, and development teams to design and implement robust technical solutions.
Guide users on platform setup, API integration, GitHub workflows, CI/CD implementation, and engineering best practices.
Build and promote reusable “golden path” solutions that simplify platform adoption and accelerate delivery across teams.
Provide actionable feedback to platform engineering teams to improve platform usability, developer experience, and operational efficiency.
Follow and contribute to engineering standards, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, cost-effective, and reusable.
Analyze recurring customer challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and process optimization.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in Data Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Platforms, and AI-powered development.
Job Qualifications
Experience working in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a similar technical discipline.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Python Spark/PySpark, SQL, Azure Cloud Services, and GitHub.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Snyk, or equivalent technologies.
Strong understanding of distributed computing concepts and large-scale data processing.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting complex cloud-based platforms and data solutions.
Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure and networking in Azure.
Strong problem-solving mindset with demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive customer success.
