The individual in this role will manage the physical inventory processes in retail, RDC BDC, FDC XDT and other Supply Chain locations at Lowe's. They will administer the accurate count processes of the physical inventory procedure while also ensuring that accurate business document cut-offs are achieved. Additionally, they perform random counts and audits of physical inventory processes. The role will utilize the Genesis systems in stores to manage the process and capture inventory data for transfer to corporate. Responsibilities include directly managing a team of 15 to 25 OIS employees during the counting process, coordinating the counting functions of 3rd party contractors (Outside Inventory Services) and ensuring that all 3rd party counts are accurate and loaded into Lowe's systems.

What you will do
- Prepare the physical breakdown of the store into geographic count sections.
- Manage the flow and deliverable for a team of OIS employees (range from 15 to 25) while directing the activity of 1 ASM and a team of Lowe's associates during the counting process.
- Provide a customer friendly inventory environment for the store to operate while managing the inventory process.
- Demonstrate leadership ability and people skills to direct inventory team members in appropriate actions related to the inventory process.
- Manage the count to exercise appropriate controls unique to the inventory process in achieving accurate counts and cut-offs.
- Explain, direct and manage the inventory team from the store in performing physical counts and reconciliations of counts.
- Manage the systems issues associated and unique to the physical inventory process.
- Display and execute an understanding of store operations policies and procedures to accommodate performing the inventory process.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 years' extensive experience in Store operations management and all selling and inventory management systems
Preferred Skill/Education
Bachelor's degree in accounting or Business or equivalent work experience in a related field
