Job DescriptionBrief Job Description:
- The role of PPE Technical Assessor will involve undertaking technical file reviews of client's documentation over various PPE standards and drafting certificates upon completion and handling customers enquiries where required.
- A broad technical background is essential for this role. Technical Assessors should have work experience i.e. employment, auditing, testing or inspection within PPE environment. Understanding performance standards and assessing PPE technical documentation is a must.
- Candidate must have knowledge of the PPE products industry and an understanding of European legislation and CE marking, gained from a manufacturing, test and certification background and a technical qualification is desirable.
- Candidates must have a high level of attention to detail, with an analytical approach with excellent communication skills, candidate would have to have very good written and verbal English and a good level of computer literacy; with sound planning and organizational ability.

Technical / Behavioral / Managerial / Critical Skills Desired:
- Should be a hard & smart worker.
- Efficient in coordinating with our Affiliate notified body.
- Accurate in reviewing the Technical files, without mistakes to the satisfaction of SGS UK office
- Arranging the Certificate on time from our affiliate notified body.
- Handling the problems in a smooth manner
- Should have good behavior and helping nature.
Additional Comments / Any other specific requirements:
- All Technical Assessor shall have work experience (e.g. employment, auditing, testing or inspection) with PPE and certification. - He / She shall have a suitable technical qualification in appropriate subject and be able to demonstrate an understanding of design of PPEs. The major product lines will be PPE Gloves, Protective clothing, PPE footwear and Respiratory mask.
- Should have good understanding capability.
- Should have smooth way of explaining the certificate status
