How you will contribute
- Coach and guide People Managers and Employees to use and benefit from self-service tools and processes (where appropriate).
- Where more complex queries require local support, explain people practices, processes & policies to People Managers.
- Apply understanding of the business reality and the external labor market/context to local people practices and Business Units initiatives - Supporting HR team in deployment of local activation of global initiatives in connection with culture, learning and engagement. e.g engagement survey.
- Support implementation of local Business Unit projects or initiatives.
- Proactive 'issue identification/escalation point of contact.
- Work closely with HR Operations Advisors from different HR workstreams to help with prioritization based on Business Unit needs.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) and process efficiency to improve Employee experience.
- Support the Business Unit Reviews in service of Business Unit challenges/escalations.
- Prepare the regular People Manager Newsletter, gathering insights.
- Deliver people practices in line with all UKI legal/regulatory frameworks.
- View data, use dashboards & reports in Workday e.g self-service and SLA Dashboards, showing metrics and data to support efficiency and effectiveness of people-related transactions.
- Act as point of escalation for other HR Advisors when needed.

Desirable:
- Experience working with a Commercial or Global function and/ or within a UK or Ireland Business Unit.
- Knowledge of UK specific People Policies and Procedures inc. Employee Relations related.
