We are looking for a motivated Engineering Ford Champ to join the C2 Platform team, supporting cost reduction initiatives and digital tooling efforts across platform component areas such as engines, transmissions, cooling systems, exhaust systems, and related hardware. This role is ideal for someone eager to apply modern digital tools (AI, Power Apps, Jira) to real engineering problems while gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration and executive-level reporting.
Responsibilities- AI-Driven Automation: Identify opportunities to leverage AI tools to automate manual, repetitive cost-reduction and engineering tasks, improving team efficiency and turnaround time.
- Power Apps Development: Build and maintain Power Apps solutions to digitize workflows, centralize data collection, and simplify data entry/updates for engineers across the platform team.
- Jira Management & Tracking: Support the creation, organization, and tracking of Jira tickets/boards to manage cost reduction initiatives, tooling projects, and action items across multiple stakeholders.
- Real-Time Data Sharing & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools that provide real-time visibility into cost status, project progress, and key metrics — accessible and easily updatable by any engineer on the team, without requiring specialized technical skills.
- High-Level Reporting: Prepare and maintain concise, high-level summaries and dashboards for review with Chief Engineers, translating detailed technical/cost data into clear executive-level insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, cost analysts, and platform leads to ensure tools and reports meet the needs of multiple stakeholders and remain aligned with evolving priorities.
- Active student from any of the last 2 semesters of engineering (Prefered Mechanical)
- Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) is required to effectively communicate with global teams, suppliers, and stakeholders
