About this opportunity 

The Payroll Specialist APAC will report to the Manager, Payroll APAC and be responsible for payroll processing in various countries, payroll vendor management, income tax support and compliance with local regulations.

Role expectations
In this role, you will… 
  • Supporting the payroll function across APAC
  • Work with Finance, HR and payroll vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll, statutory contributions and income tax
  • Process payroll related invoices
  • Prepare the accounting entries for payroll and payroll related accruals as well as the month end reconciliations
  • Support the sourcing, management and review of vendors
  • Ensure the wide variety of payroll information, files and records via written electronic formats are up to date
  • Process tax clearance where necessary
  • Ensure compliance with local practices and regulations
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required
  • Any other tasks assigned from time to time

What we're looking for
In this role, you’ll need … 
  • Possess a relevant Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree 
  • At least 5 to 8 years of payroll experience for APAC, knowledge with ANZ payroll is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with strong MS Excel skills
  • Excellent understanding of tax and other relevant statutory regulations for payroll.
  • Good vendor management and communication skills 
  • Attention to details will be essential
