Your Impact
As a Partner Account Executive for the SMB & Mid-Market segment at Cisco Malaysia, you will hold a senior sales role responsible for driving growth and managing the SMB territory. You will collaborate closely with our distributors to build a robust run-rate engine by leveraging Cisco's Partner Program and the tier-2 partner ecosystem. You will also need to cultivate and expand strategic relationships with key Partners who drive growth in the SMB and Mid-Market segments. Aligning their business priorities with Cisco's comprehensive technology portfolio and go-to-market strategy is critical.
By leveraging market insights and industry trends, you will position Partners to capitalize on emerging technologies, lead demand generation initiatives, and create differentiated customer solutions. Additionally, you will explore new growth streams by engaging with emerging segments such as hyperscalers and IoT.

Key roles/responsibilities
- Quota Achievement: Drive sales execution to consistently achieve and exceed assigned quota targets within the SMB and Mid-Market territory.
- Strategic Advisory: Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with strategic partners to align their business models with Cisco's growth objectives and execute strategic partner account plans focused on business transformation, capability development, and GTM strategies.
- Channel Expansion: Scale the run-rate engine through distributors and expand into emerging channels, including MSPs, IoT, and hyperscalers.
- Market Intelligence: Anticipate industry disruptions and competitive trends to advise partners on future-ready technology and "Get Well" strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales, account management, or partner management experience.
- 8+ years of experience working with channel partners, distributors, or within a technology ecosystem.
- 5+ years of experience effectively communicating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including technical teams and partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of sales and channel dynamics, with experience in commercial, enterprise, or public sector account management.
- Experience working with distributors is an advantage.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Strong ability to build trust and credibility with partner executives and sales teams, serving as a mentor and resource in positioning solutions to customers.
- Excellent listening, communication, and influence skills with a proven track record of building strong executive relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate, drive initiatives, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
