A member of our Product Operations team supporting the CallerID and ENUM family of services. Dynamics of the Role
As a member of the International Platforms & Services Team, this Information Technology Quality Assurance role will participate in the full software development lifecycle of complex applications built using data management technologies such as Cucumber, Robot test framework, Java etc. The role is responsible for the health and quality of TransUnion software applications and for helping to guide junior associates. You will have the accountability and freedom to test and validate the systems that are taking TransUnion to the next level.
What You'll Bring:
Requirement section 1:
• 6+ years of hands-on in various phase of testing complex enterprise applications including defining functional, non-functional strategies, automation test development and co-ordinate testing.
• Knowledge of Gherkin Language, Cucumber, Robot test framework.
• Highly experienced in testing highly complex technology applications and large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong attention to detail and has demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems and the ability to come up and communicate quick and creative solutions.
• Ability to work in collaborative teams located across the globe and cross-functional technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
Preferred requirement section 2:
• Experience in AWS preferred.
• Experience in Agile teams is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, a plus.
Impact You'll Make:
Impact you’ll make:
• Works closely with Scrum team to clarify requirements, ensure testability and to provide feedback on design (functional and technical).
• Contributes to impact assessments from Feature enhancements on system level interactions, and existing automated test suites.
• Conducts in-sprint Test Design, Test planning, Test automation development, and Test execution, uses strong Exploratory Testing to uncover weaknesses in test approaches.
• Identifies opportunities for reuse so as to design and implement test automation libraries.
• Responsible for logging defects, making recommendations to address defects and ensuring quality of the work of the scrum team.
• Conduct performance and scalability testing.
• Contributes to improvements in testing coverage, design test framework, develop test suites, expand automated testing harness and automate scenarios/cases.
• Provides test consultation to Scrum team members to assist them in developing robust Unit Test suites.
