Germany (remote)

Responsible for a set of products and services, they get to know their portfolio inside and out. Our Outside Sales teams rely on them for technical advice during the sales process. They directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, through to pricing and availability.

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive (AE) with a strong track record selling data management, analytics, MLOps, or AI platforms into large enterprise customers. This role is responsible for new customer acquisition, account expansion, and strategic account growth by positioning modern data platforms as the foundation for enterprise analytics and AI initiatives.

What you’ll achieve

As a Product Specialist for UDS Data Management, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across enterprise customers by positioning Dell’s AI Data Platform and Data Engines as the foundation for large‑scale analytics and AI transformation. You will identify new opportunities, expand existing accounts, and guide senior stakeholders on how modern data architectures and Dell solutions accelerate AI‑driven outcomes.

You will:
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to customer data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives.
  • Drive new customer acquisition and expansion by positioning Dell’s AI Data Platform and Data Engines as the core enabler for enterprise‑wide analytics and AI use cases.
  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and Heads of Data, Analytics, and AI.
  • Lead value‑based sales conversations that translate data and AI capabilities into measurable ROI and business outcomes.
  • Position and win competitively against incumbent and next‑generation data platform providers.
  • Articulate how Dell products enable AI applications through retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and unstructured data processing for use cases like intelligent search, document analysis, and conversational AI.
  • Position the platform's capabilities for handling unstructured data (documents, images, logs) alongside structured data for comprehensive AI solutions
  • Guide customers on AI use cases such as intelligent search, unstructured document analysis, operational data processing, and conversational AI.
Essential Requirements
  • Bring 5+ years of enterprise sales experience in data management and analytics, ideally with vendors such as Databricks, Snowflake, Denodo, Informatica, Teradata, ScaleAI or similar.
  • Proven success selling solutions within large enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architectures (data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouse models, and vector databases for AI/RAG),  enabling enterprise AI and analytics.
  • Ability to lead executive‑level discussions and advise on AI adoption and business outcomes.
  • Show familiarity with data engineering, analytics, BI, and data science workflows sufficient to sell AI based outcomes and guide customer conversations.
Desirable Requirements
  • 8 to 12 years of related experience selling solutions supporting RAG and unstructured data processing.
  • Background in competitive positioning within the modern data platform ecosystem.
