Our client is seeking an Outdoor Sales Representative to drive sales growth through direct client engagement, product demonstrations, and proactive relationship management. The role requires mobility, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve targets. The representative will manage a defined territory, identify new business opportunities, and act as the primary link between the company and its clients.
- Conduct in-person meetings with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
- Source new leads through networking, referrals, field visits, social platforms, and cold outreach, and follow up to convert prospects into sales.
- Manage the complete sales process including initial contact, needs assessment, product demonstration, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, provide after-sales support, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Develop and implement territory sales plans to maximize coverage and revenue.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, roadshows, and industry events to generate leads.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues.
- Conduct regular field visits to understand market dynamics and provide recommendations for product improvements and emerging opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outdoor or field sales; industry-specific experience is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and multitask.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
- Goal-oriented, self-driven, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
