PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Provides advice and support for assigned programs and/or processes within DealShield. Builds working knowledge of assigned products, programs, and the business processes that support them.
- Builds and maintains foundational assets (e.g., Data Dictionary, Query Repository) that provide standards and records of data.
- Builds and maintains positive, cooperative working relationships with business leaders and teams. Organizes and facilitates cross-functional project teams.
- Works with business leadership to understand current objectives, operational processes, gaps and challenges. Collects and analyzes data to identify the root causes, track KPI's, and deliver performance reports and insights.
- Writes SQL queries to understand product data and stakeholder use cases.
- Supports the development and maintenance of data models using dbt and SQL-based transformations.
- Conducts business diagnostics to identify, quantify, and prioritize portfolio gaps and areas of opportunity. Develop and recommend solutions to improve performance across DealShield.
- Analyzes products, portfolio performance, and workflow processes to surface financial insights, identify opportunities for improvement, assess market trends and the competitive landscape
- Supports pricing strategy, cost management, and margin enhancement decisions through data analysis
- Develop recommendations to streamline, reduce costs, enhance effectiveness, or improve workflows in support of continuous improvement initiatives
- Delivers recommendations to process owners and stakeholders through presentations and business cases
- Engages with Operations Management colleagues, business owners, and other stakeholders to craft and execute business improvement plans, support new product launches, and expand the partner auction network
- Drives adoption of data and analytics tools, automation, and AI-enabled technologies to improve how the business and team operates
Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2+ years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 14 years' experience in a related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics and operations support, with demonstrated ability to write and optimize SQL queries.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, open to feedback, share progress and ask questions to ensure alignment with team goals.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
- Desire to continually learn and grow analytical skillset.
- Applies effective analytical techniques to identify root causes, evaluate alternatives, and arrive at data-driven conclusions
- Translates financial, market, and industry data into actionable insights that improve team and organizational results
- Other duties as needed or required.
- Requires physical ability and mental acuity to execute the duties of the position successfully within required timeframes to meet business requirements.
USD 67,100.00 - 100,700.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $67,100.00 - $100,700.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
