The Role

This role is located in Somerville, MA — This role requires in-office presence for the working hours.

Tulip, the leader in AI-native frontline operations, is helping companies around the world equip their workforce with composable, connected apps, leading to higher quality work, improved efficiency, and end-to-end traceability across operations. Tulip’s cloud-native, no-code platform, powered by embedded AI, is driving the digital transformation of industrial environments through composable, human-centric solutions that go beyond disrupting the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) category.

A spinoff out of MIT, Tulip is headquartered in Somerville, MA, with offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, and Israel. About You:

You're the person who keeps things running — and you make it look easy. You're hacky, handy, and always two steps ahead of the next problem. Whether it's troubleshooting an office issue, setting up for a company event, or tracking down a missing package, you bring a sense of urgency, reliability, and a "just figure it out" attitude to everything you do. You're resourceful, organized, and personable — the kind of teammate who makes everyone's day a little smoother. You want to work on a small, high-impact team in a fast-paced startup, and you're looking for a co-op where you'll have real ownership and real responsibility from day one.

What Skills Do I Need?

  • Able to work 20-40 hrs/week on-site at our Assembly Square office in Somerville, MA (easily accessible via the Orange Line). We're dog friendly — our Chief Barketing Officer can provide more details.
  • Bias for action, flexibility, adaptability, and strong time management skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take a solution-oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently carry out and present projects to the team and company.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication.
  • You already replaced your google search with an AI tool and are excited about finding ways to adopt new technologies

Key Responsibilities:

Office Operations

  • Troubleshoot issues and handle office projects — building, moving, and setting up equipment around HQ.
  • Keep the space organized, clean, and fully stocked.
  • Monitor the Operations Jira board and inbox; respond to requests.
  • Manage inventory and ordering for snacks, food, and office supplies.
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
  • Source, procure, and maintain office equipment.

Employee Experience

  • Support workplace culture initiatives: town halls, happy hours, team events.
  • Help create a welcoming, productive environment for all employees.

Hardware Fulfillment

  • Support hardware fulfillment.

Key Collaborators:

  • Business Operations
  • IT
  • Library Team (Tulip Experience Center)
