Function:

Responsible for the retail growth of the Puma Service Station Network, overseeing the evaluation, development, execution, and administration of new projects aimed at expanding and optimizing the retail footprint.

Leads the full project lifecycle, from market analysis and site selection to construction and launch, ensuring alignment with commercial strategy and compliance requirements.

Supervises 2 direct reports, providing strategic guidance, performance management, and mentorship to support network development objectives across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Elaborate reports, information and statistics that are required for the Commercial Director and Retail Manager Discuss and elaborate plans of action, modify strategies in the investment and expenses programs.

2- Manage portfolio of idle spaces in Puma Service Station Network, lead negotiations and evaluate different business models to get the maximum commercial and economic use of idle spaces available.

3- Prepare and evaluate business cases and financial analysis to ensure the company investments. Review and analyze capex budgets and make executive summaries for Retail Manager and Commercial Director

Request CAPEX authorizations to the Regional Retail Manager based on the objectives’ evaluations of each project and their financial results.

4- Responsible for Retail CAPEX Request; growth of the Puma Service Station Network. Provide support to the Area Sales Managers in new and potential Puma Service Station projects.

5- Supervise the execution of new projects to guarantee that on time delivery, including monitoring permits (installation and operation permits) progress of new service stations projects, and monitoring construction progress.

6- Support Retail Manager supervising Sales Representatives’ activities. Review and analyze retail market information, inventories levels, sales and margins versus established budget and make targeting decisions.

7- Visit service stations site to evaluate new projects as well as Puma Network with the Puma S/S sales representatives in order to verify that established strategies are being executed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Pricing strategies, management leadership, strategic sales and marketing, and international sales.
  • Languages: English, Spanish
  • Minimum four years of sales experience ideally in a multinational company preferred.
  • Minimum of four years in a leadership role.
  • Post Graduate University degree in Business Administration, International Business, Commerce, or Marketing. Knowledge
  • Undergraduate University degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Marketing or other related field.

Experience: 

  • Commercial areas (Business Support and Sales)
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in network development, site acquisition, or retail expansion, preferably in the fuel, convenience retail
  • Oil industry
