About this opportunity:
Service Professional has the responsibility of End to End Network Planning ,Design & Optimization for Core network(s) .The role also includes being able to analyse customer business & technical requirements, to build robust, scalable & cost-efficient solutions using Ericsson/Multivendor products. SP would be responsible to deliver global optimization & design projects performed within the Core domain from the DF optimize organization to the Ericsson customers in the different markets, while providing technical leadership and governance across the solution lifecycle.
What you will do:
• Accountable for day to day delivery and overall technical quality of the assigned Design, Planning and Optimization projects towards the MA including SBD deliveries.
• Act as end-to-end solution architect for large / multivendor CS Core, IMS and EPC networks, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, security and alignment with customer roadmap.
• Designing all network interfaces as per the network architecture/growth & capacity requirements.
• Responsible for Design, planning and optimizing for following nodes of the network:-IMS (P/I/S CSCF), MSS, MGW, TAS, INUM, PCRF, MSS(MGCF), MRF, BGW, MGW, DRA, HSS, SBG, STP, CUDB, UPG/EDA and related core elements;. recommend parameters and settings as per network requirements and best practices.
• Resolve critical customer issues related to network KPIs & performance and drive deep-dive analyses and optimization actions.
• Accountable for HLD/DLD and LLDs creation for 2G/3G/4G Services and solutions
• Responsible for Risk Monitoring, Change Management, Budget/Cost monitoring & reporting data
• Provide technical governance and guidance across delivery teams to ensure adherence to architecture, design standards, optimization methodologies and documentation quality.
• Preparing technical solutions and SoC (Statement of Compliance) for RFPs/RFQs in the CS Core/IMS domain.
The skills you bring:
Relevant experience in the field of CORE planning , design and optimization (CS Core / IMS / VoLTE / VoWiFi / EPC).
Worked as a end to end solution architect for Large/multivendor network.
Leads large engineering teams addressing multiple markets performing analytical, investigative, and/or design activities related to wireless communication systems including but not limited to GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE/VoLTE and VoWifi.
Strong CORE as well as end to IP networking knowledge
Hands-on experience delivering multi-node core transformations such as cloud/NFV migrations, capacity expansions, new service introductions and optimization programs.
Preparing technical solutions and SoC (Statement of Compliance) for RFP.
Lead architecture and design for 5G Core, end-to-end network slicing (eMBB, URLLC, mMTC and enterprise slices), ensuring isolation, SLA adherence and seamless integration with existing CS Core / IMS / EPC domains.
Skill Set :
Strong CS CORE/IMS/VoLTE/VoWiFi/ViWiFi/EPC fundamentals in Planning, Design and Optimization.
Senior subject matter expertise on operator network architecture and understanding.
Strong Technical Knowledge on CORE/IP Domain.
A detailed knowledge of Ericsson's/ multivendor existing and future product/services portfolio, roadmap information and system integration practices
Very good collaboration skills in solving network related issues both internally and towards customers.
Hands on experience on Cloud architecture (NFV/NFVi, virtualized and cloud-native core solutions).
Should have worked on SIP, Diameter, GTP/GTPv2, Radius protocols.
Certifications: Cloud Certification, IP certifications
