About this opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Telecom Mediation Specialist with strong expertise in the deployment, integration, configuration, development, and troubleshooting of Telecom Mediation platforms.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience on deployment of Mediation Platform across Bare Metal, Virtualized, Cloud, or Containerized environments, with a strong understanding of CDR processing, Online protocol knowledge, data transformation, mediation rules, network-element integration, and upstream/downstream systems.
Experience with automation, Kafka/real-time streaming, cloud technologies, and Gen-AI tools will be an added advantage.
What you will do:
• Deploy, install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot mediation platforms across Bare Metal, VM, Cloud, and Container/Kubernetes environments.• Configure and manage mediation workflows for high-volume CDR processing.• Integrate mediation platforms with various Network, IT, Core, Packet Core, Charging, Billing, and downstream systems.• Design and develop mediation solutions for Charging & Billing, IMS/VoLTE, 4G, and 5G use cases.• Perform end-to-end data reconciliation across network elements, mediation, and downstream systems.• Develop and maintain mediation components, utilities, scripts, and automation frameworks.• Use Java, C, Python, Shell, and/or Perl for development and automation activities.• Build, deploy, and develop real-time streaming applications using Apache Kafka or Apache Flink.• Explore and leverage Gen-AI tools to improve engineering productivity, troubleshooting, automation, and solution development.• Strong hands-on experience with telecom mediation platforms such as Ericsson Mediation OR Nokia/Comptel Mediation OR Amdocs Mediation/Oracle RBM• Strong understanding of CDR structures, processing flows, mediation rules, parsing, transformation, and enrichment.• Experience in end-to-end mediation solution design/development for Charging & Billing, IMS/VoLTE, and/or 5G.• Thorough understanding of ASN.1/JSON/AVRO Schema/Parquet structures.• Strong proficiency in SQL.• Hands-on experience with Java, C, Python, or equivalent programming languages.• Experience with data parsing, transformation, ETL processes, and API integrations.• Strong understanding of large-scale data processing.• Experience in building, deploying, configuring, or troubleshooting Apache Kafka / Apache Flink environments.• Understanding of real-time/event-driven streaming architectures.• Experience developing real-time streaming applications using Kafka is highly desirable.
The skills you bring:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related discipline.• 5-12 years of relevant experience in Telecom Mediation deployment, development, integration, or solution engineering.• Experience with cloud-based mediation solutions.• Recognized certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Kafka will be an advantage.• Experience in 5G mediation, IMS/VoLTE, real-time charging, and cloud-native telecom architectures will be highly desirable.• Exposure to Automation and Gen-AI technologies is an added advantage.
