About this opportunity:
SME responsible for Transport Fixed Network Design for B2B Corporate Services.Covers service order management, circuit design (MPLS-VPN, Fiber, GPON),port reservation,VLAN/VC/PW ID/VPRN ID verification, equipment issuance,and design closure into the provisioning system (Linxwork).
What you will do:
• IP/MPLS network design for telecom / ISP B2B networks
• L2/L3 VPN technologies: IP/MPLS VPNs, VPLS, EVPN
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS and static routing
• IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnet planning and routing table validation
• VLAN, VRF and QoS design and classification
• MPLS-VPN circuit design, HQ path verification and resiliency planning
• VLAN, VC, PW ID and VPRN ID parameter design for service activation
• Fiber termination and media planning & design (FTTH, GPON, Copper, L2)
• Last-mile connectivity and access technology design (ADSL, SHDSL, GPON, MPLS)
• Enterprise Internet, DIA, VPN and Leased Line solution planning
• Metro Ethernet and Carrier Ethernet solution design
• ILL and fixed broadband (FTTH/GPON) planning and optimization
• Network topology, path design, redundancy and resiliency planning
• Voice integration: PBX/PABX/IP PBX, FXO/FXS, SIP lines and SIP trunks
• Strong IP and transport domain expertise with deep understanding of fiber technologies
The skills you bring:
Service order intake, verification and validation in CIA Logical
Cross-functional coordination with PDF, Engineering, Sales, NOC and Field Operations
High-level and low-level design creation for B2B enterprise services
Design accuracy verification, solution validation and technical feasibility review
Capacity, bandwidth and service feasibility planning
BOQ/BOM preparation and equipment issuance process management
Configuration data recording, documentation management and design governance
Order closure and clean hand-off to provisioning (Linxwork)
SLA-driven design delivery, KPI tracking (On-time %, FTR) and performance reporting
Design error analysis, escalation handling and rework coordination
Network migration, upgrade and change management planning
Root cause analysis for recurring design/planning issues and risk mitigation
Clear communication and stakeholder management across internal and customer teams
Tools and Reporting
CIA Logical web system (service order and design management)
Linxwork / Links Work (interface for design hand-off to provisioning)
Lotus Notes or equivalent (equipment issuance and approvals)
N2000 or equivalent Network Management System (design verification and configuration view)
GIS and network inventory / asset management systems
Reporting tools (design data records, KPI tracking)
MS Vision and network documentation tools
ITSM / ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy) for design-related requests
