Team Overview
The FactorTrust team is a highly talented and results-driven organization responsible for run-and-protect operations of the FactorTrust Bureau platform, while also leading cloud migration initiatives and new product development. The team brings a startup mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong ownership culture to drive innovation, operational excellence, and modernization across scalable, secure, and customer-focused solutions. This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage FactorTrust Bureau fulfillment and back-office applications, ensuring operational stability, platform reliability, and successful project delivery.
- Manage an IT team composed of full-time associates and contractors, providing coaching, mentorship, and upskilling opportunities to support team growth and delivery excellence.
- Own the full software development lifecycle, from solution design and development through deployment, support, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee system design, application architecture, and technology changes to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.
- Drive application support, incident management, change management, and service KPI performance to meet internal and external SLAs and improve customer satisfaction.
- Design, develop, and implement enterprise-scale solutions that align with business strategy, technical standards, and organizational goals.
- Provide technical leadership through code reviews, pair programming, design guidance, repository management, and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across multiple platforms, components, cloud environments, and hybrid infrastructures.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, operations, platform, DevOps, SRE, data governance, release management, and global corporate teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and drive innovation to improve platform capabilities, scalability, reliability, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
- This role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Required Knowledge And Experiences
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, STEM, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in enterprise application development and Microsoft technologies such as .NET Framework and SQL Server.
- Experience leading software delivery across the full development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment, support, documentation, and operational excellence.
- Strong understanding of Credit platform capabilities, enterprise-scale application architecture, solution design, and business requirement translation.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers, conduct code and design reviews, solve complex problems, and drive initiatives aligned to organizational goals.
- Strong experience with Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework and SQL Server.
- SaaS/PaaS product development experience.
- Strong programming and scripting experience, preferably with Java, Python, Scala, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud services such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, as well as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with relational databases, NoSQL databases, Git/version control, API development using Spring Boot, automated testing, Infrastructure as Code, Continuous Deployment, and automated configuration management
- Cloud Architect or Cloud Engineer certification.
- Experience with large-scale data processing systems such as Hadoop, MapReduce, or Spark.
- Front-end development and usability experience.
- Experience supporting cloud-native and desktop business applications for U.S. Markets Credit platforms.
- Experience cross-training and mentoring junior engineers
