Role Summary
The National Affiliate Account Manager influences and collaborates directly with business owners, managers and associates at affinity partners, including but not limited to realtors, trade associations, utility companies, schools and others to drive sales volume, revenue and market penetration through the development and or execution of affinity agreements and lead generation initiatives.
What You'll Do:
- Evaluates and drives the performance of current sales portfolio on an ongoing basis, including sales volume, revenue, market penetration and other factors. Identifies underperforming partners and develops approaches and strategies to increase sales. Ensures sales quotas are achieved while maintaining quality customer service.
- Partners with National Account Manager and Referral team to drive incremental results b executing new affinity partner agreements and contracts, strategies and plans to promote the company's interests.
- Sources and calls on potential new sales partners and may be involved in the negations of local contracts.
- Plans and executes account initiatives including training partner contacts, conducting sales meetings and events, developing and awarding contests and incentives, tracking competitive activity and recommending partner specific offers and sales campaigns. Ensures that referral program awards are consistent with results and that clear expectations are set.
- Partners interdepartmentally and regionally to maximize sales and drive penetration in assigned territories. Works with National Partnership Account Manager and Marketing group to develop marketing materials as needed
- Proactively shares local market information and identifies strategies and plans to address competitor activity in fluid competitive markets. Remains current on competitor activities, pricing and product offerings and leverages competitive knowledge to favorably position Cox product and services.
- Serves as a community representative of Cox Communications that is recognized as a subject matter expert. Establishes a presence in the community through participation and leadership of relevant boards, trade associations and committees. Develops and cultivates long term relationships with industry partners in order to maximize revenue growth

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and two years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to two years of experience or six years of experience in a related field with no degree. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
- Strong organizational and territory management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite, CRM and database tools
- Ability to perform data analysis and interpretation to make data-based decisions

- Global perspective to continually protect Cox's best interests
- Ability to identify market trends and communicate to leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in related discipline

USD 46,600.00 - 69,800.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $46,600.00 - $69,800.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $21,300.00.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
