Squarespace is looking for a Podcast Strategist to join our Media & Acquisition team, supporting our Creator program. Squarespace is a leader in Podcast advertising, and this role is an opportunity to be at the industry forefront of a large-scale program. You will be responsible for campaign management, planning tests, channel forecasting, measurement, project management and more. The ideal candidate will have a passion for podcasts, have a results-driven approach to problem solving, and be detail-oriented.

Our Media & Acquisition team sets itself apart by being both rigorous and experimental, and we are looking for team members who maintain that balance. This role is based in our headquarters in New York and reports into the Media & Acquisition Lead.

You’ll Get To… 
  • Assist with Podcast network communications and campaign management by providing partner feedback, coordinating the delivery of creative assets, and addressing inquiries
  • Contribute to the planning, pacing, and reporting of large-scale media campaigns
  • Support the expansion of our Podcast program by overseeing new launches, contracting new shows, onboarding talent, managing invoicing, and other key functions of program management
  • Partner with the rest of the Creator team on cross-platform opportunities extending to YouTube, TikTok and Instagram
  • Partner with our Analytics, Creative, and Finance teams to investigate performance, develop creative approaches, and facilitate deals
  • Research the competitive landscape and Podcast industry to identify new growth opportunities for the business
  • Monitor competitor presence, driving optimizations for audio spot creative and flagging contract terms to partners
Who We’re Looking For 
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing
  • Brings strong communication, structured thinking and a friendly attitude to their work
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently
  • Autonomous but able to identify when to escalate more complex issues
  • Comfortable working with data, marketing KPIs, and various data management tools
  • Strong familiarity with podcasts is advantageous

Cash Compensation Range: $70,500 - $113,850 USD

The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors. 

In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), Squarespace employees are eligible to be granted an option to purchase our common stock.
