Essential Functions:
- Set up new customers in SAP based on Zendesk ticket submitted by Sales
- Complete supplier forms submitted by new customers
- Enter approved partner pricing discounts into Partner Portal as promotional code
- Manage customer price agreements in Salesforce
- Ensure clean and timely booking of customer purchase orders, including:
- Proactively audit open quotations for pre-booking accuracy
- Receive incoming customer purchase orders from Order Management Specialist
- Review, interpret, and reconcile customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and work with Sales to resolve any discrepancies (units, products, pricing)
- Attach customer purchase order to Cognex quotation and submit back to Order Management Specialist
- Create quotes in the following exception-based circumstances:
- In response to RFQs for known BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
- In response to received purchase orders that are not associated with an existing quote for BOMs with pre-approved pricing for high volume OEMs and repeat customers
- To facilitate fast-turn opportunities requiring expedited / UPS RED / next day shipment
- Exercise judgment in interpreting and implementing operating practices to resolve exceptions.
- Act as liaison between Order Management, Sales, and customers regarding order status when in-country assistance is required
- Assist in providing user experience support in Salesforce
