Team/Role Overview

The eTrading Analyst is a developing professional role within the markets Client Onboarding function, focused on enabling and supporting electronic trading platforms and client onboarding activities. The role requires strong analytical skills to monitor, asses and improve data quality, system configurations and client set-ups.

The individual identifies process inefficacies, data inconsistencies and control gaps, drives improvements through automation, standardization and collaboration with Technology, Sales and Operation teams.
 

What you’ll do

  • Day to day oversight and contribution to creation and maintenance of customer accounts, security and pricing data within multiple systems across multiple teams

  • Identify opportunities for improvements to quality of data and client service levels

  • Drive automation and process optimization initiatives by leveraging internal tools.

  • Drive automation by working with Transformation Teams for AI implementation

  • Act as key point of contact between seniors, project managers and teams ensuring alignment on eTrading projects and reporting

  • Responsible for the successful management and delivery of project initiatives and for the supervision of junior staff to ensure delivery of their tasks which contribute to the projects

  • Operate withing a global, follow-the-sun team structure, requiring flexibility to support different time zones through a shift-based working model.
     

This is a one-year fixed-term contract position. There is a possibility for extension upon successful performance, business needs, and funding availability, offering a pathway for continued engagement with Citi.

What we’ll need from you

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in client/counterparty/account data management within a global financial services organization

  • Very good English knowledge (written & spoken)

  • Bachelor’s/University degree as an asset

  • Very good knowledge of Excel

  • Able to identify, trouble shoot issues and ultimately escalate

  • Team player with can-do attitude
