Role Summary/Purpose:
Leads the execution & change of manufacturing processes while supporting production.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction (NPI), documenting process changes, driving process / fixture improvements, driving lead and cycle time improvements, cost of quality (COQ), and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) actions.
- Participate & Drive LEAN initiatives for process improvements.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and product cycles.
- Maintain the manufacturing engineering system on part routing and standards.
- Design necessary fixtures and tooling for manufacturing NPI’s and for process improvements.
- Manage multiple projects by providing scheduling, resource management, budget control and EHS compliance.
- Interface with vendors and internal contacts in an effective manner to ensure that the technical and EHS perspective is properly conveyed.
- Act as change agent, understanding and moving the operation toward world-class performance.
- Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships.
- Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area.
METRICS:
Main metrics applicable for this operation are: EHS: 0 OSHA; 100% On time closure for Findings and Concerns. Quality: Reduction in total cost of quality per business guidelines. VCP: Drive to completion VCP projects. Improve labor efficiency by 10%. Inventory: Meet inventory targets. Service: Schedule attainment above 90% to guarantee stock availability.

- BS Degree in Engineering or Technology Field.
