The Manufacturing Specialist in specific for this role is responsible for supporting the efficient flow of materials, components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility. This role performs warehouse and internal logistics activities including receiving, storage, inventory handling, material replenishment, order fulfillment, part picking and packing, shipment preparation, and shipping documentation. The specialist works closely with production, planning, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability and on-time customer deliveries while maintaining compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S workplace organization principles.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities
  • Executes production according to the appropriate instructions.

  • Execute daily internal logistics activities to ensure uninterrupted material flow to production areas.

  • Receive, inspect, store, and move materials in accordance with established procedures.

  • Perform inventory transactions and material movements accurately within ERP system

  • Replenish production lines and workstations with required materials according to production schedules.

  • Support cycle counting and inventory accuracy initiatives.

  • Perform warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.

  • Maintain proper inventory organization and storage practices to ensure material traceability and accessibility.

  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, where authorized.

  • Assist in inventory management and stock control activities.

  • Verify product quantities, part numbers, labels, and packaging requirements before shipment.

  • Prepare shipment documentation including packing lists, shipping labels, and transportation paperwork

  • Follow all company quality management system requirements and standard operating procedures.

  • Ensure proper product handling and packaging to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support corrective and preventive actions when required.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Comply with all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with 5S principles.

  • Identify and report safety concerns, process inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.

  • Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives within logistics and warehouse operations.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, manufacturing support, or material handling environments.

  • Basic understanding of inventory management and material flow processes.

  • Experience with ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or inventory tracking systems.

  • Ability to read and understand shipping documents, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in accordance with job requirements and safety guidelines.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
