As the Manager of Solution Advisory, you will lead a high-impact team of talented Solution Advisors. You aren't just managing a team; you are architecting a world-class engine of storytellers and problem-solvers. From the office of Bogotá you will lead the charge in making Coupa’s AI-driven platform the gold standard for our customers.
What You'll Do:
- Talent Architect: You will lead a diverse team. You are responsible for their growth, conducting regular 1:1s, performance evaluations, and career pathing.
- The Master Coach: You won't just tell them what to do; you’ll show them. You will shadow calls, provide real-time feedback, and lead certification programs to ensure every advisor is a "black belt" in the Coupa platform.
- Operational Excellence: You will monitor team bandwidth and productivity.
- Development & Mentorship: Create individual development plans for each resource to ensure constant upskilling in AI and platform capabilities.
- Quality Assurance: Regularly review demos and to ensure the highest quality of output.
- HR Management: Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and administrative duties.
- Administrative/Operational Excellence: Track and maintain team KPIs, ensuring reliable, up-to-date data to support informed, trend-based decision-making.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Proven Leadership: Experience managing or leading a team in a Presales, Solution Advisory, or Customer Success environment. You know how to motivate people and drive results.
- The "Coach" Mentality: You have a passion for developing others. You enjoy the process of "shadowing and certifying" and know how to give constructive feedback that sticks.
- Trilingual/Bilingual Communication: English is a must. Portuguese is a plus.
- Solution Sales Acumen: You understand discovery, storytelling, and the "why" behind the software. If you know Procurement or Fintech, that’s a major plus.
- Adaptability: Leading a team that supports two different time zones requires a manager who is organized, flexible, and highly efficient with time management.
