Position Overview
We are seeking a Manager, Engineering (AI Engineering) to guide a technical team. This role will provide expertise to ensure effective delivery and a high-quality results throughout the development of AI-based services.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of engineers to deliver a series of AI agents and AI-based services
- Provide professional and technical leadership with impactful guidance, coaching, and feedback
- Empower the team with clear goals and a data-informed approach to ensure excellence
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with the team
- Collaborate with Product Mgmt., Architecture, and other Engineering Leaders to define and plan work
- Monitor active work to manage risk, escalate blockers, and ensure delivery goals
- Collaborate with other internal teams to ensure alignment and achieve shared roadmap milestones

Your experience should include:
- 8+ years of experience creating high quality and scalable solutions
- 8+ years of experience confirming requirements, technical designs, testing, and production readiness
- 3+ years managing engineering teams and providing feedback to ensure velocity and quality
- Ability to provide coaching and guidance on software development best practices, DevOps, Security best practices, and cloud native architecture
- Technical leadership of Generative AI initiatives
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodology and testing practices
- Ability to recruit, develop, and retain technical teams
- Experience with Scrum practices and tools like Jira and Confluence
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience

Our targeted starting base salary in the United States for this position ranges from $115,000 - $175,000. To determine a new team member's starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone's depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities. Depending on the role, team members may also be eligible to participate in additional compensation plans such as bonus and commission.
