Job Description
Manager, Product Software Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced AI-first systems while leading a team of engineers to build scalable, high-performance applications.
The role owns end-to-end delivery of intelligent platforms—including architecture, development, and production operations—while ensuring predictable delivery, quality, and team productivity.
This role operates in a 70-30 capacity (hands-on technical leadership and team management), combining expertise in AI/GenAI tools with the ability to guide, mentor, and drive execution across a team.
In addition to hands-on system design, this role provides technical direction, people leadership, and delivery management, enabling teams to build secure, compliant, and high-impact AI-driven solutions.
The role may also guide cross‑team delivery by coordinating complex dependencies, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring predictable, high‑impact outcomes within an Agile, experimentation‑driven development environment
The role partners closely with product management, domain experts, and cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions, while reviewing and evolving system designs and technical documentation to ensure quality, maintainability, and alignment with organizational standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end technical and delivery execution of intelligent platforms, ensuring alignment with timelines, quality standards, and business outcomes including system architecture, development, deployment, and continuous improvement in production environments
- Lead the design and delivery of AI-first, cloud-native solutions, ensuring high quality, scalability, reliability, and strong customer impact across mission‑critical systems
- Drive the resolution of complex technical and AI-specific challenges, performing deep system analysis and implementing resilient, long-term solutions
- Partner closely with product management, domain experts, and stakeholders to translate complex business and regulatory needs into secure, compliant, and explainable AI solutions.
- Mentor, coach, and manage engineers through structured feedback, goal setting, and performance management, fostering a high-performing engineering team
- Apply strong business acumen to ensure technology decisions align with strategic goals, driving innovation while balancing quality, speed, and operational excellence.
- Ensure on-time delivery of features and releases, balancing speed, quality, and technical debt management
- Define and drive AI architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices covering GenAI, RAG pipelines, agentic workflow etc.
Team Leadership & Delivery Management
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous growth
- Own sprint delivery, capacity planning, and execution predictability across the team
- Conduct performance reviews, career development discussions, and mentoring
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and skill development initiatives
Technical Skills:
- Core Tech stack:
- Expertise in .NET Technologies, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, OOP, and Python (optional/ good to have) for Web and GenAI solutions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core.
- MUST HAVE - Hands-on with MS SQL Server, VS Code, Visual Studio 2022, Azure DevOps, and Agile delivery.
- Front End Skills
- MUST HAVE - Develop dynamic, responsive UI components using ReactJS (19).
- MUST HAVE - Write clean, modular TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap,
- GOOD TO HAVE - Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and optimized UI performance.
- AI SDLC:
- MUST HAVE - Proficient with GitHub Copilot (IDE/CLI/PR review) for code generation, testing, and standards compliance.
- MUST HAVE - Proficient in building Agentic Skills / Copilot agents for automated PR triage and secure coding enforcement, Token Optimization.
- MUST HAVE - Proficient in implementing features using SDD (spec-kit, Open spec) or equivalent frameworks

- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, TDD, and unit testing.

- GenAI & Orchestration (Good to have):
- Good understanding of modern GenAI and Agentic AI technologies, including AI orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, and enterprise RAG architecture. Experience building reliable AI solutions through structured tool integration, validation mechanisms, and advanced retrieval techniques that improve accuracy, scalability, and governance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience in software development.
- Proven experience leading small to mid-sized engineering teams
- Experience in managing delivery in Agile/Scrum environments
- 5+ years’ experience in demonstrating ability to balance hands-on development with people management responsibilities
- 12 to 15 years of programming experience in Microsoft technologies
- 4+ years’ experience developing Single Page Applications using ReactJS (Must have)
- 8+ years’ experience building high-traffic, public-facing web applications
- 5+ years’ Experience using Azure PaaS/SaaS based technologies, designing H/A multi-region solutions
- 8+ years’ Proficiency with GitHub or equivalent tool for version control, code reviews, and integration with CI/CD pipelines
- Successful track record delivering high quality products on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence peers
- Experience designing and implementing stateful and stateless services in scalable, cloud-based systems
- Exposure to Cosmos or AWS DynamoDB (Good to have)
- Experience in Tax and Accounting field (Good to have)
