Job Overview:

As a Manager within the Client Compensation organization, you will lead a team of 10-12 people who support our Advisors and their staff through emails and phone calls. The team’s core functions include processing of commissions and fees, research, bookkeeping management, processing files from sponsors and carriers, as well as continuous improvement analysis. You will be responsible for motivating your team in a manner consistent with LPL Financials’ values. No matter the situation, your team’s duty remains the same: Providing our advisors with timely, accurate, and relevant information, when and where they need it so that in turn, they can help their clients achieve their own financial dreams. Responsibilities:

  • Construct and maintain individualized goals that support each team member's career path.
  • Prioritize one-on-one meetings and provide thorough, real-time coaching sessions.
  • Mentor and coach team members to align with leadership's vision while enhancing their skills and career trajectories.
  • Oversee comprehensive training and coaching plans to promote continuous knowledge sharing across team members, teams, and departments.
  • Share trends and pain points with leadership and business partners to identify solutions and drive process improvements.
  • Actively participate in, support, and drive departmental and firm-wide projects to foster collaboration.
  • Provide strategic insight and direction for the evolution of commission payouts and processing of commissions and fees for advisors.
  • Own and supervise firm-wide, multi-department projects aimed at enhancing experience workflows related to the team and department.
  • Inspire and lead initiatives that enhance the advisor experience and positively impact the broader LPL organization.
  • Provide resolutions for aged requests, escalated issues, and complex activities that degrade advisor experiences.
  • Proactively review audit controls to ensure risk mitigation, elimination of redundant requirements, and increased transparency with audit partners.

Requirements:

  • Series 99 required (Ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • 5+ years leading and developing others
  • Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word required

Pay Range:

$75,700.00 - $126,100.00


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
