The Manager, Key Account Marketing, is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives for Manheim's larger client segments. This role combines account planning, campaign execution, and data-driven marketing to drive client engagement, support growth objectives across assigned accounts ultimately leading to greater retention and increased revenue for Manheim. In addition, this role may support campaign execution for additional customers under the direction of Sr. Manager or Director.
What You'll Do
Account Strategy & Management
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for assigned Growth and Tier 3 client segments, aligning client goals with Manheim's auction capabilities and services.
- Build understanding of client business models, remarketing objectives, and market challenges within the Growth and Tier 3 segments.
- Create account-specific marketing plans and serve as a primary marketing contact for assigned accounts.
- Serve as primary marketing liaison for assigned commercial accounts, building trust and long-term partnerships.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Design and execute targeted marketing campaigns supporting client remarketing goals across Manheim's auction network.
- Collaborate with Field Marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of client initiatives.
- Coordinate multi-channel marketing approaches, including digital, events, and location-based activations.
Data Analytics & Performance Management
- Leverage analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and AI-enabled tools to synthesize large data sets into clear insights, summaries, and performance narratives for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Translate campaign, buyer, and account-level data into actionable recommendations that inform account strategy, optimization opportunities, and growth planning.
- Develop concise, insight-driven recaps and summaries that clearly communicate performance, trends, and next steps across Sales, Field Marketing, and Key Account Marketing partners.
- Monitor and report on KPIs tied to client success and Manheim business objectives, using data storytelling to demonstrate marketing impact and ROI.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Data Analytics, and Corporate Marketing to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of client campaigns.
- Proactively share synthesized insights, campaign learnings, and performance summaries to enhance cross-team visibility and decision-making.
- Ensure seamless handoffs and consistent communication across teams while maintaining brand standards and delivering customized client experiences.

Who You Are
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 6 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing, with focus on account management and campaign execution. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years' experience in a related field.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and demonstrating campaign ROI.
- Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise insights for diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
- Ability to prioritize work and demonstrate agility among competing priorities.
- Great attention to detail is a must.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Experience using AI-powered tools or advanced analytics to summarize data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
- Ability to work on CST or EST schedules to accommodate internal and external customers
- Travel: Up to 25% for client meetings and auction location visits. Must live within 60 miles of a major airport.
Preferred:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Automotive, auction, fleet, rental, or remarketing industry experience.
- Experience with growth-stage accounts or emerging client segments.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and data visualization platforms.

Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the range of $89,400.00 - $134,000.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
