Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Leadership, Coaching & Talent Development
- Lead, coach, and develop three regional Inside Sales Supervisors, the Inside Sales Coordinator, and the Virtual Training Specialist, establishing consistent performance expectations and accountability across all regions.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions with supervisors covering people management, pipeline management, performance, and business execution.
- Oversee onboarding, sales-process training, product education, and systems training in partnership with the Virtual Learning Specialist, targeting programs to identified skill gaps.
- Identify and develop future leaders, supporting interviewing, candidate selection, and succession planning across the organization.
Sales Performance and Territory Execution
- Drive inside sales strategies focused on agency production, engagement, profitability, retention, and growth.
- Analyze regional performance, sales trends, pipeline activity, and agency engagement data to identify opportunities and address performance gaps.
- Partner with regional supervisors and field sales leaders to develop and execute aligned territory business plans.
Operational, Agency & Business Partnership Support
- Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Underwriting, Product, Operations, and Learning and Development on strategic initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting, pipeline management, and CRM utilization.
- Identify workflow and technology improvements, and provide leadership with business updates, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Support key agency relationships, escalated concerns, and remediation plans, ensuring agency-facing teams deliver a consistent, consultative, and service-oriented experience.
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Seven or more years of experience in sales, territory management, agency development, account management, or related business leadership.
- Three to five years of leadership experience managing sales teams, supervisors, or multilevel organizations in a metric-driven sales or contact-center environment.
- Strong coaching, communication, performance-management, analytical, and strategic problem-solving skills, with working knowledge of Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, management, communications, or a related field.
- Property and Casualty insurance experience, preferably within inside sales, agency development, territory management, or contact-center sales.
- Experience with training, facilitation, onboarding, employee development, or geographically aligned sales teams.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office-based, with extensive telephone and computer use in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- Frequent interaction with associates, supervisors, field leadership, internal partners, and agencies through meetings and virtual communication.
- Occasional travel may be required for meetings, training events, conferences, or agency visits.
