Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Provide extensive sales and administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales reports, coordinating broker events, assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies and campaigns.
- Partner with Business Development Managers to manage relationships with insurance brokers & foster strong partnerships for driving business growth. Support broker onboarding, training and provide ongoing support.
- Streamline and optimize sales processes within the insurance brokerage division. Assist team manager to monitor and evaluate sales activities, track sales performance, and generate accurate sales forecasts and reports. Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Deliver exceptional client service to brokers and business partners by providing product information and addressing enquiries/concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance transactions, contracts, and agreements. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. underwriting, claims, policy administration and cashier etc,) to support sales initiatives and ensure smooth business operations.
- Assist in providing CPD course to sales team members and business partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field. Relevant certifications in insurance or brokerage management are highly desirable.
- At least 5 years' experience in sales support or brokerage management within the insurance industry. Proven experience in insurance sales, underwriting, or claims is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, policies, and processes. Familiarity with various insurance lines such as property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to translate complex insurance concepts to clients, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong attentive to details and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Ability to interpret insurance sales data, identify trends, and derive actionable insights.
- Experience working with insurance broker management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of insurance quoting tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to analyze complex situations, identify solutions, and implement effective strategies.
