Job DescriptionTo ensure accurate and timely reporting, reconciliation, and substantiation of Global Markets and Treasury products income statement and balance sheet, while enhancing these core outputs through insightful analysis that supports business performance, revenue growth, and improved client solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Produce and validate daily and periodic P&L and balance sheet reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Perform reconciliations across front-office trading systems, core banking platforms, and the general ledger, including currency positions and product balances.
- Analyse P&L and balance sheet movements, providing clear attribution, variance explanations, and actionable insights.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring root-cause identification and sustainable fixes.
- Deliver concise, value-added commentary to support trading, client activity, and business strategy.
- Partner with front office, risk, and finance teams to translate financial results into commercially relevant insights.
- Support new product initiatives through design of reporting frameworks, controls, and system requirements.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and data quality enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Contribute to ad-hoc analysis, projects, and business initiatives.

- 2-3 years experience working in a Global Markets/Treasury product control or similar environment (finance or market risk support role would be sufficient)
