The Role

Our vision for Link is to become the global leader in deep data for life sciences. It helps pharma professionals to find the right people for, e.g., clinical trials, education programs, or advisory boards. This streamlined access helps to reduce the time-to-market of important drugs, conduct trials with the most relevant experts in the respective field, and spread information about new treatments to key people in the life science community. We are seeking an experienced People Manager to lead one of our Data Operations teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and high-quality delivery of data operations that support our product development. You are part of the Data Operations leadership team and responsible for a team of 5 Veevans and multiple hundred curators.

You know how to lead an engaged and high-performing team. Building a personal connection with your team and holding them accountable comes naturally to you. You are experienced in driving process improvements and skilled in data-driven decision-making. You are hands-on. Don’t shy away from analyzing the data for your decisions yourself. Based on your understanding of the value a product adds to customers, you can shape operations and be a sparring partner to product managers.

You will represent Data Operations in a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with Product Management, Data Engineering, and Data Science.

Requirements

  • Extensive people leadership experience (5+ years)
  • Proven track record in process improvements
  • Confident spreadsheet user (pivot tables, nested formulas)
  • Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have

  • Experience in life sciences (education or professional experience)
  • Experience in data product businesses
  • Data analysis skills (e.g., SQL, Tableau)
