Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute integrated communications strategies and enterprise messaging that elevates external awareness of Lowe's Technology vision and innovations, and how this work translates to helping our customers solve problems and fulfill dreams for the home. This experienced communicator will inform and engage external audiences by translating complex initiatives into compelling, accessible narratives that reinforce Lowe's position as a retail technology leader.
This role will also serve as a strategic advisor to senior technology executives, shaping industry leadership, media engagement, and storytelling that highlights how Lowe's Technology enhances the customer experience and drives business growth.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute integrated communications plans that elevate awareness of Lowe's Technology initiatives, with plans aligned to business priorities and presented to senior technology leaders on a regular cadence
- Optimize existing channels and explore new multimedia platforms to create compelling integrated content to inform and engage external audiences; partner with corporate communications colleagues to align storytelling
- Support management of ongoing media relations, executive visibility, and industry leadership strategy that showcases Lowe's as a retail tech leader; promote and protect the Lowe's brand; recommend and analyze data for measurement reporting
- Build and manage cross-functional relationships across the business to ensure seamless collaboration with others including Lowe's Technology, Executive Communications, Internal Communications, BTV, Marketing, and Supply Chain, to ensure impactful storytelling
- Follow tech media landscape with a hyper-focused lens to inform our strategy and identify opportunities to further position Lowe's retail tech leadership narrative
- Collaborate with strategic technology partners and their teams to unlock storytelling opportunities that enhance Lowe's industry positioning
- Support management of Lowe's external public relations agency, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and delivery of high-impact results
- Demonstrate strong judgment, executive presence and clear understanding of the enterprise business, sometimes handling confidential and sensitive company information.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Television / Media, Communications or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
- 5 Years of Corporate Communications or public relations experience supporting retailers or consumer brands
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree Business, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of Corporate Communications and/or public relations experience supporting technology communications, retailers, or consumer brands
