MAITRE'D
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, escorting them to their tables in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure a smooth and organized seating process that maximizes guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Address guest concerns, special requests, or complaints promptly and professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Build rapport with regular guests, recognizing preferences and providing a personalized dining experience.
- Manage and maintain reservation bookings, ensuring accuracy and optimal table allocation.
- Oversee waitlists during peak periods, communicating wait times clearly and managing guest expectations.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Assist guests with menu selections and confidently recommend specials, promotions, and enhancements.
- Support upselling initiatives while maintaining a refined and guest-focused approach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 1-2 of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a Maître d’, Head Host, or comparable supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with reservation systems and point-of-sale software; SevenRooms experience preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
Salary Range: US$55,000-US$65,000 per annum
Benefits: In accordance with Cayman Islands law
