JOB SUMMARY:

The Loyalty Program Lead, International leads the strategic execution and performance of the Choice Privileges program in key markets outside of the U.S. to help grow membership, repeat stays, redemptions, and lifetime value for guests worldwide.

The role is a key driver of program design, product, and strategic workstreams for the loyalty program internationally, inclusive of benefits design, value proposition, tier architecture, and promotional strategy and partners with stakeholders across Marketing, Digital, Revenue Management, Finance, and Technology to shape the end-to-end international member experience.

This role manages a portfolio of global initiatives across Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and Asia-Pacific, serving as the loyalty product lead and accountable for driving initiatives from conception to definition, execution and measurement.  The role works closely with regional marketing and commercial teams, the International Operations Team, Finance, Privacy, Legal, and Technology to turn regional needs into delivered results, while leveraging data and analytics to prioritize and measure initiatives. This is an individual contributor position on the Loyalty Program Strategy team and reports to the Senior Manager, Loyalty Strategy.

Note: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of international loyalty program-design workstreams, including the member value proposition, tier architecture, benefits, earn-and-burn mechanics, personalization, and lifecycle design, balancing member value with sustainable program and franchise economics.
  • Own the International loyalty product roadmap: translate priorities into a repeatable build–measure–learn cadence, define success measures before launch, and report results that inform the next roadmap cycle.
  • Partner with Marketing, Digital, and Product to deliver the member experience across the journey (discover, book, stay, return, advocate), focusing on the moments that drive first enrollment and the second and third stay.

International Loyalty Program Strategy

  • Serve as the loyalty SME for every International region, advising regional teams on program benefits, strategy, and guardrails.
  • Serve as the “voice of International” in US-based strategic planning discussions, advocating for the unique needs of each region and global scalability.
  • Build and maintain a loyalty roadmap and gap assessment for each region that reflects its market maturity and prioritize initiatives that increase member enrollment, engagement, and retention.
  • Build trusted relationships with regional leaders, International headquarters, and US teams, and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities, status, risks, and dependencies.

Performance Management

  • Build and maintain SQL-based dashboards and reporting for the loyalty metrics that matter internationally: enrollments, repeat-stay rate, loyalty revenue contribution, redemption elasticity, points velocity, liability movement, and program contribution margin. Support the Sr. Manager in presenting performance and trade-offs to senior leadership.
  • Make data-based decisions: set goals and measures for each initiative, report on enrollment, engagement, and loyalty revenue by region, and be willing to recommend changes based on evidence.
  • Identify promotional needs based on international loyalty performance and segment needs.

Program and Process Management

  • Able to draft clear business requirements and create compelling business cases to support project and promotion requests, and present them to senior leaders and Technology partners for prioritization and funding.
  • Manage a portfolio of International initiatives from request through launch and results, building repeatable, scheduled programs with clear owners and timelines.
  • Define and document end-to-end processes, including how regions submit, plan, and track requests, so initiatives move faster and need less rework.
  • Support the loyalty needs of new market launches and expansions, and train regional teams on program rules and processes to foster self-sufficiency.
