The team increases competitiveness and customer satisfaction by maximizing service levels and minimizing costs. With a multitude of players in Keystone’s global supply chain, the Logistics Manager oversees all cargo in transit and ensures all parties – suppliers, sales personnel, operations personnel and customers – have reliable and timely information relating to the delivery of goods. The person in this role leads a highly performing team of internal associates in conjunction with a variety of transportation partners, with the ultimate objective of meeting customer demand.

Your Impact:

  • Serve as a key member of major system implementations, most notably a Transportation Management System (TMS), including requirements gathering, testing, process redesign, and user training.

  • Develop and maintain KPIs and performance metrics for logistics operations, and use them to identify problems, drive improvement, and hold internal teams and partners accountable.

  • Manage and analyze inbound transportation spend against budget, report on cost drivers and variances, and identify opportunities to improve service levels while reducing overall logistics costs.

  • Lead cost savings initiatives across inbound logistics, with a focus on container management and the reduction of Extra Container Fees (demurrage, detention, storage, prepull, and other accessorial container charges).

  • Manage the booking process of all ocean and air bookings with suppliers and forwarders.

  • Maintain critical data in the company’s ERP for tracking the movement of cargo in transit with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Audit system inputs to ensure data accuracy.

  • Work with transportation partners and warehouse teams to schedule deliveries and process shipment receipts.

  • Work with the procurement team to provide costs and routing information needed to make expediting decisions.

  • Arrange special-order shipments and monitor to completion.

  • Work with procurement, fulfillment, and sales teams, as well as suppliers and forwarders, to identify and resolve challenges in meeting customer demand.

  • Ensure accurate billing from suppliers, forwarders, and transportation partners.

  • Coordinate Product Quality corrective actions.

  • Manage the direct-to-customer drop ship process.

  • Manage P21 external supplier inventory locations.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressive logistics leadership experience. Experience managing a team is required.
