Requirements
Our one of our client seeks a team member who can join them as a Manager/Sr. Manager – Litigation. This is a critical role and the incumbent will be responsible in assisting for drafting of plaints, written statements, appeals, applications, affidavits, evidences etc. and assist in day-to-day litigation management.
Desirable PQE is 7-12 years in litigation. Incumbent must be well averse with the day-to-day processes of the court, must have sound knowledge of procedural laws, must have experience in legal drafting and must possess good communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in drafting and vetting of replies, written statements, plaints, appeals, etc., legal documents including deeds and agreements, legal notices, preparing law suits, due diligence, legal consultancy and other matters;
- Expertise in handling matters pertaining to Criminal and Civil cases, experience with special emphasis on Consumer law & Health laws would be preferred;
- Assist in ensuring that high quality, cost effective, and timely legal services and advice are provided to the senior management w.r.t litigation's and other business issues related with day-to-day affairs of functions within the company.
- Resourceful with the ability to assess all legal issues and producing professional results while adhering to rigid guidelines;
- Supervising external counsels; litigation management and risk management;
- Liaise with external consultants or law firms on various routine matters.
