Your Impact· Lead and manage the EDA support team to provide timely and effective technical assistance for EDA tools and related infrastructure.
· Collaborate with engineering, design, and IT teams to ensure EDA environments are optimized for performance and reliability.
· Develop and implement support processes, best practices, and documentation to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
· Coordinate with software vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues and manage software updates and licenses.
· Monitor system performance, identify potential issues proactively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
· Manage resource allocation, team development, and performance evaluations within the support function.
· Stay current with industry trends and advancements in EDA technologies to recommend improvements and innovations.
· Actively engage in hands-on support activities, directly assisting users and resolving complex technical issues to maintain high service levels and operational excellence.
Minimum Qualifications· Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in supporting Electronic Design Automation tools and environments.
· Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Technology, or a related technical field.
· Strong technical knowledge of EDA software suites and hardware platforms used in electronic design.
· Experience in team leadership and managing technical support operations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Familiarity with software license management and vendor coordination.
Preferred Qualifications· Background in electronic engineering or related technical field.
· Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, SKILL, Tcl) to streamline support tasks.
· Experience with LSF or other compute cluster management systems.
