Lead Software Test Automation Engineer(C# and .NET OR Advance Java experience, hands on-API testing (REST),Playwright or Selenium)
About the Role:
As a Lead Software Test Automation Engineer, you will execute specialized and independent testing tasks to ensure the highest quality standards of our software products. Your deep expertise in automation testing will contribute to the reliability and robustness of our software solutions. You will take a leadership role in test process improvement initiatives and work independently to achieve quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Independently design, execute, and maintain advanced automated test suites.
• Drive the development of test automation strategies and frameworks.
• Lead test automation initiatives, ensuring the efficiency and reliability of test processes.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of test results to identify performance bottlenecks and defects.
• Advocate for quality within the development process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Implement and enhance automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline.
• Evaluate and recommend new test tools and technologies.
• Provide technical leadership in test architecture design and implementation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in test automation.
• Produce comprehensive test documentation and reports for stakeholders.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET OR Advance Java experience
- Hands-on experience with API testing (REST)
- Playwright or Selenium
Experience using tools/frameworks such as:
- RestSharp / HttpClient
- NUnit / xUnit
- Solid understanding of JSON, HTTP protocols, and status codes
- Experience with Git or similar version control systems
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions OR Jenkins, etc.)
- SQL and database validation skills
- Contract testing (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI)
- Experience in agile/scrum environments
- Grafana reporting and dashboard
- QA KPI Metrics
