About the Role:
As a Lead Enterprise Software Engineer, you will independently execute sophisticated software development tasks. Your expertise will drive the creation of robust end-user applications and tools, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance in critical business domains.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for requirements, architecture, design, development, test and provide production support for ServiceNow application supporting business initiatives. He or She will have to work closely with Project Management, Systems Requirements, Design and Development, Quality Assurance, Production Support and Client executives across various Business units.
- Work with key stakeholders within the organization to understand and build the ServiceNow platform roadmap. Understand the cross-functional teams needs to successfully deliver on system design for business requirements.
- Work across the GBS organizations and be responsible for requirements, solution architecture, quality assurance and production support.
- Work with the Business Analysts to create Use Cases, Design artifacts, Development according to ServiceNow standards.
- Design, develop and deploy technical ServiceNow components such as: business rules, client scripts, UI policies and actions, UI pages and macros, script includes, catalog items, workflows, web services, reports.
- Ensure that SLAs are being met for services.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, coaching associates in various aspects including technology and adoption of technology.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes and best practices.
- Establish and maintain competence in current and planned versions of products.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives by working across technical teams to enhance the systems, processes and controls to ensure effective development, monitoring, and support is in place.
- Have strong ability to trouble shoot problems and suggest solutions.
- Work with developers and assist them with technical issues and perform design and code reviews.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 10+ years of IT experience
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture.
- Experience with Agile practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Experience with working or developing in the following programming languages: HTML 5, CSS3, Angular JS, JavaScript, Client and Server-side Scripting, ServiceNow API's, Web Services.
- Experience administering, configuring, developing, and customizing ServiceNow and related integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications are highly preferred
