Position Overview
The Lead Product Software Engineer(T4) will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of scalable and high-performance iFirm Tracking, Taxprep Gemini, PTM Devops and CPE links application. This role requires a combination of strong leadership skills and extensive experience in Angular, Web API and .NET-based development across both front-end and back-end technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to drive the technical direction of the team, mentor junior developers, and ensure the development of high-quality applications.
Experience Required: 10 to 15 years
Must Have
• Proficient in C#, .Net Framework, ASP.NET, .NET Core, web services/Web API, OOPs
• Experience in HTML/CSS, Front-end development using Angular, cosmosdb and, and exposure to at least one JavaScript framework,
• Experience in code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimisation
• Experience working in an agile environment with an SDLC like Scrum, SAFe, etc.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience in writing Unit Tests, Use of Mocking Frameworks
Nice To Have
• Experience WinForms, OOAD & DevExpress UI components.
Azure Cloud Services
• Experience in Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, figma, confluence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Collaboration and Communication:
• Lead a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and technical mentorship.
• Ensure the team follows best practices in Product development, version control, Scrum Practices and code reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders of iFirm Tracking, TaxPrep and PTM DevOps to deliver seamless application experiences.
• Regularly communicate with both technical and non-technical teams regarding the status of development, potential issues, and risk mitigation.
Code Quality and Testing:
• Implement unit tests, integration tests, and other automated testing methodologies to ensure code quality.
• Perform code reviews to maintain high standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
Performance and Optimisation:
• Optimise iFirm tracking and Taxprep Gemini product performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing best practices for speed and efficiency.
• Continuously improve code quality through refactoring and innovation.
